Flight to Velana International Airport (Malé) for Club Med Finolhu Villas

Flying to Club Med Finolhu Villas is convenient, especially if you’re departing from Kuala Lumpur. Airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, and Batik Air operate direct flights to Velana International Airport (MLE) almost daily. The flight takes around four and a half hours, which makes reaching the Maldives surprisingly easy compared to many other island getaways.

Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, the transfer process is smooth. You’ll find a Club Med GO holding a “Club Med” sign at the arrival hall, or you can head straight to the Club Med counter at E9. From there, the speedboat jetty is located just across the road from the terminal. Transfers are shared with other guests, so there may be a brief wait before departure. Once you board, the speedboat ride itself feels like the start of your holiday, taking you across clear turquoise waters straight to the exclusive sanctuary of Club Med Finolhu Villas.

Club Med Speedboat Transfers to/from Velana International Airport (30 minutes)

When you book a Club Med flight package, your shared speedboat transfers between Velana International Airport (Malé) and Club Med Finolhu Villas are automatically included. You won’t need to stress about transport, as Club Med arranges everything for you from the moment you land until you step onto the island.

If you book a non-flight package (where flights are arranged separately), transfers are still available at an extra cost. In this case, you’ll just need to add the transfer service when confirming your stay with Travelution Holidays so everything is set before you arrive. The speedboat ride itself takes about 25 to 30 minutes, gliding across crystal-clear waters with stunning views of the Maldives along the way.
