- Register for Lessons: Secure your ski or snowboard classes at the Ski Desk between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM on your arrival night. Classes follow a progressive curriculum, you cannot skip the morning session and join in the afternoon.
- Check Mandatory Gear: Helmets are compulsory. If you are a beginner snowboarder, wrist guards are also mandatory. Both are available to rent at the Pro Shop.
- Book Specialty Dinners at Check-In: The Ogon (Hotpot) and The Kaen (Yakiniku BBQ) at Kiroro Grand are included but they book out fast. Contact the concierge desk after check-in to secure your dining slots.

Is Club Med Kiroro Peak family-friendly?
Club Med Kiroro Peak is an adults-preferred boutique sanctuary with a strict minimum age requirement of 12 years old. Because of this, there are no Kids’ Clubs or childcare facilities at Kiroro Peak. The atmosphere here is intentionally quiet, peaceful, and sophisticated.
If you are traveling with children under 12, or require dedicated Kids’ Clubs and daily children’s activities, we highly recommend booking at Club Med Kiroro Grand located just 3-minutes away, which is fully equipped for families.
How do I get to the resort from the airport?
The closest gateway is New Chitose Airport (CTS) near Sapporo. The journey to the resort takes roughly 2 hours. When booking with us, we can fully arrange your airport shuttle bus or private car transfers to ensure a seamless arrival right at the lobby doors.
Are ski and snowboard equipment rentals included in the package?
No. While your lift passes and group lessons are entirely free, ski/snowboard equipment (skis, boards, boots, and poles) is an optional add-on. You may pre-book your rental gear through us during your reservations.
Can I use my ski lift pass on the day I check in?
Yes, you can, but you will need to purchase a separate day-pass for that first afternoon.
The lift pass included in your all-inclusive package activates the morning after your check-in day and runs through to your departure day. This arrangement ensures you can have a relaxed arrival afternoon to settle into your room, get custom-fitted for your rental gear at the Pro Shop, and enjoy the resort’s hot baths and open bars without feeling rushed to hit the mountain immediately.
Can I use the facilities at Club Med Kiroro Grand?
Yes. Your booking includes unrestricted “Two Resorts in One” access. You can head over to Kiroro Grand (via a 3-minute shuttle or gondola) to enjoy their indoor swimming pool, and natural volcanic Onsen.
Which restaurants are included under my Club Med Kiroro Peak package?
Your all-inclusive plan includes dining at four distinct spots:
- Otaru Main Restaurant (Kiroro Peak – International & French-Japanese buffet)
- The Ogon (Kiroro Grand – Interactive Asian hotpot). One tasting basket included per booking.

Are there natural onsens at Kiroro Peak?
Technically, no. Kiroro Peak features traditional Japanese hot baths rather than an official geothermal onsen. You will have full access to an indoor hot bath (Ofuro) and a serene, open-air outdoor hot bath (Rotenburo) to melt away muscle fatigue while watching the snow fall.
However, if you want to experience an authentic, natural volcanic Onsen, you enjoy full complimentary access to the facilities at Club Med Kiroro Grand next door (just a quick 3-minute shuttle or gondola ride away).

- Rates: Club Med package prices are per adult, based on double occupancy in a Superior Room for selected check-in dates.
- Rates Include: Accommodation, all-day dining, open bar, group sports lessons, ski pass and entertainment.
- Not Included: Flight tickets, airport transfers, travel insurance, visas, private sports lessons, excursions, laundry services, room surcharges, premium dishes and drinks, ski jacket and pants rental, ski/snowboard equipment rentals, items marked with an asterisk (*), and personal expenses unless otherwise stated.
- Final Price: Rates are dynamic and may change at any time without prior notice. Prices are only confirmed once payment has been received and the booking has been successfully validated.
Age-Based Discounts
- Teens (12–17 years): Up to 20% off the adult rate.
- Children (0–11 years): Not permitted
Age Restrictions & Check-In Eligibility
- Accompanied Minors Policy: In strict compliance with Club Med global policies and the local laws of the destination country, guests who are below the drinking age of the destination country cannot book a resort stay independently.
- Booking Requirement: Any guest under the legal drinking age must be registered in the same booking as an accompanying adult who has reached the drinking age in that destination country
- Enforcement: Club Med reserves the right to request valid passport verification upon check-in. Failure to comply with local age eligibility rules will result in the immediate denial of resort entry and the cancellation of the stay by the resort, with a 100% cancellation penalty applied to the client.
Reservation Changes (Days Before Check-in):
- 60 or more days: A fee of MYR200 per person applies for amendments. However, the fee will be waived if the new booking is of a higher value, and you will only need to pay the fare difference.
- Within 60 Days: Subject to cancellation charges below.
Cancellation Charges (Days Before Check-in):
- 60 or more days: Deposit is forfeited
- 59 to 31 days: 50% of total holiday cost
- 30 to 15 days: 70% of total holiday cost
- 14 to 0 days: 100% of total holiday cost
Payment Schedule
- More than 60 days from check-in: A deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required to secure your reservation. The remaining 80% balance must be settled at least 60 days before check-in.
- Within 60 days of check-in: Full payment (100%) is required immediately upon booking to validate and confirm your stay.
- If your package includes airfare, 100% of the flight cost is required at the time of booking, regardless of the check-in date.
- Failure to settle the balance by the 60-day deadline may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.

- Restrictions: Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods or when availability is limited.
- Promotions: All promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Certain offers may not be valid during blackout dates, especially during peak travel seasons such as Chinese New Year, year-end holidays, and school holidays.
