Almost everything! What costs extra?
The items that require an additional fee are:

How do I pay for extra expenses inside the resort?
Club Med operates a completely cashless village system. Upon check-in, you will link a credit card to your digital profile or resort wristband. Any extra expenses (spa, boutique, premium drinks) are simply swiped to your room account. You settle the final bill on your departure morning via credit card or Thai Baht.
What are the official check-in and check-out times?
- Check-In: Official room access begins at 15:00.
- Check-Out: You must vacate your room by 10:00 AM.
- Travelution Tip: If you purchase a Club Med flight package, your all-inclusive resort privileges (including bars and restaurants) match your transfer times. If you arrive early before 15:00, you can head straight to lunch; if you have a late evening flight, you can remain on the property enjoying the facilities until your airport transfer arrives.
Do I really have to follow the evening dress codes?
They are 100% optional but 100% recommended! Club Med is famous for its themed evenings (like All-White Elegance, Tropical Chic, or Neon/Glow). While nobody will ever stop you from entering a restaurant in standard smart-casual clothing, participating is a massive part of the fun, social atmosphere.
Is there a medical clinic on-site?
Yes. The resort features a fully equipped Infirmary (First-Aid Room) staffed by a resident, certified nurse to handle minor ailments, cuts, or scrapes. If a more serious medical situation arises, the resort has a doctor on call, and premium, international-standard hospitals (such as Bangkok Hospital Phuket) are located roughly 35 minutes away.
What footwear is mandatory for sports?
If you or your kids plan to try the Flying Trapeze, Tennis, Archery, Pickleball, or the Fitness Center, you must wear closed-toe athletic sports shoes (sneakers). Sandals, flip-flops, and barefoot entry are strictly banned in these zones for safety reasons.
For the boat-based snorkeling excursions, we also highly recommend packing a pair of rubber-soled water shoes to protect against underwater rocks and coral.
Is Halal food available at Club Med Phuket?
The kitchens and restaurants at Club Med Phuket are not Halal-certified. Because the resort serves an international guest base, pork and alcohol are widely prepared and openly served throughout the main buffet lines and bars.
However, Muslim guests can navigate the dining options comfortably using these alternatives:
- Seafood, and Vegetarian, Options: The main buffet restaurant, The Mamuang, features live-cooking stations with selection of seafood and vegetarian dishes.
- Custom Dietary Support: You can speak directly with the Restaurant Manager or Head Chef upon arrival. The culinary team is highly accommodating and can frequently prepare customized, pork-free, and alcohol-free dishes on request.
- A la Carte Thai Dining: At the specialty restaurant, The Chu-da, you can enjoy table-service Thai-fusion dinners (like Massaman curry and local fish specialties) where you can easily opt for strictly seafood or vegetarian dishes. Note: Advance reservation is required.
- Off-Property Dining: Club Med Phuket is located right on Kata Beach, which is situated close to several local Halal Thai restaurants and Muslim-owned food stalls just outside the resort gates.

- Rates Include: Accommodation, all-day dining, open bar, group sports lessons, entertainment and kids’ clubs (4+ years)
- Not Included: Flight tickets, airport transfers, travel insurance, visas, private sports lessons, excursions, laundry services, room surcharges, childcare for children below 4 years old, premium dishes and drinks, items marked with an asterisk (*), and personal expenses unless otherwise stated.
- Final Price: Rates are dynamic and may change at any time without prior notice. Prices are only confirmed once payment has been received and the booking has been successfully validated.
Age-Based Discounts
- Teens (12–17 years): Up to 20% off the adult rate.
- Children (4–11 years): Up to 40% off the adult rate.
- Toddlers & Infants (Under 4 years): Stay for free.
Reservation Changes (Days Before Check-in):
- 60 or more days: A fee of MYR200 per person applies for amendments. However, the fee will be waived if the new booking is of a higher value, and you will only need to pay the fare difference.
- Within 60 Days: Subject to cancellation charges below.
Cancellation Charges (Days Before Check-in):
- 60 or more days: Deposit is forfeited
- 59 to 31 days: 50% of total holiday cost
- 30 to 15 days: 70% of total holiday cost
- 14 to 0 days: 100% of total holiday cost
Payment Schedule
- More than 60 days from check-in: A deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required to secure your reservation. The remaining 80% balance must be settled at least 60 days before check-in.
- Within 60 days of check-in: Full payment (100%) is required immediately upon booking to validate and confirm your stay.
- If your package includes airfare, 100% of the flight cost is required at the time of booking, regardless of the check-in date.
- Failure to settle the balance by the 60-day deadline may result in the automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
Important Notes
- Restrictions: Minimum stay requirements may apply during peak periods or when availability is limited.
- Promotions: All promotions are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Certain offers may not be valid during blackout dates, especially during peak travel seasons such as Chinese New Year, year-end holidays, and school holidays.
