Club Med Tomamu Dining Experience
In view of Club Med Tomamu’s expansive size as a resort, it is essential to take note that during periods of high occupancy, the restaurants may become crowded. During my visit, there was a company incentive group of 200 guests from Singapore, along with other guests, resulting in a total occupancy of approximately 500 guests. Consequently, the restaurants faced substantial demand during peak hours, leading to long queues at the buffet live stations and occasional delays in replenishing certain food items, such as pizza. This was primarily due to the chef’s limited capacity to bake only two pizzas at a time. To navigate these challenges, we chose to have our meals later, strategically avoiding the peak hours to find available tables and enjoy a more relaxed dining experience.
Despite the occasional challenges, I found several favorite dishes at Itara, including the delightful lavender ice cream, delicious pizza, fresh sashimi, flavorful udons, and comforting ramens. As for Haku, while the yakiniku was enjoyable, I personally prefer the Yakiniku experience at Club Med Kiroro Grand.
Club Med Tomamu offers an exciting and diverse culinary journey, where guests can savor the best of Hokkaido’s gastronomic delights through an array of dining options, making it a truly memorable dining experience.
