Travel Documents
- Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel date
- A copy of your Club Med booking confirmation
- A copy of your ferry tickets if you did not purchase a Club Med + Ferry package.
- A visa, if required (Passport holders from ASEAN countries enjoy 30 days visa-free entry)
Things to Do
- 72 hours before departure, complete the All Indonesia Arrival Card
- 48 hours before departure, fill in the SG Arrival Card (for non-Singaporeans travelling through Singapore) to catch the ferry from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.
- Download the Club Med app on App Store or Google Play to get the latest activity schedules
Health and Safety
- Travel insurance covering medical and trip cancellation. Malaysian travellers may contact Travelution Holidays to purchase a suitable plan.
- Pack medication and prescriptions in carry-on. Bring motion sickness pills if needed.
Money
- Currency: Indonesia Rupiah (IDR) but Singapore Dollars (SGD) is widely accepted.
- Travellers may be required to show proof of sufficient financial means upon arrival. This can be in the form of a credit card or at least USD 1,000 in cash per person.
- Touch N Go (Alipay) and Duitnow (QRIS) are accepted at selected merchants in Indonesia.

Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal Check-in
- Arrive at the ferry terminal at least 1.5 hours before departure.
- During school holidays, long weekends, or public holidays, plan to arrive 2 hours before departure to avoid long queues
- Head to the Bintan Resort Ferries check-in counter. Present your passport to receive your boarding pass, then drop off your luggage.
- Next, proceed to immigration clearance.
- After clearance, wait in the boarding lounge until your ferry is called for boarding.
- The journey by ferry is around 60 minutes

Immigration and Custom Clearance
- Follow the signs to Imigrasi (Immigration) and Pengambilan Bagasi (Baggage Collection)
- At the immigration counter, show your passport, and Club Med booking confirmation
- Collect your bags at the baggage carousel
- Pass through customs (Indonesia is strict on things like drugs, substances, pornographic materials, counterfeit goods and endangered wildlife products)
- Proceed to the Club Med counter at the end of the arrival hall, just before the exit.
- Travel time from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal to Club Med Bitan is about 20 minutes.
Upon Arrival at Club Med Bintan
- You’ll be greeted by the Club Med GOs with a warm Indonesian welcome.
