COVER SHOULD MATCH THE REAL TRIP
The cheapest policy
may leave the largest gaps.
WHY TRAVEL INSURANCE MATTERS
A safety net for
the parts you cannot control.
Insurance cannot prevent disruption, but suitable cover can reduce the financial impact when illness, cancellation, delay or baggage problems affect the journey.
01 · MEDICAL
Overseas treatment
Emergency medical care and evacuation can be costly, especially in remote destinations or where suitable facilities are limited.
02 · CANCELLATION
Prepaid travel costs
Eligible cancellation or curtailment cover may protect non-refundable flights, accommodation and packages when an insured event occurs.
03 · DISRUPTION
Delays and belongings
Depending on the plan, benefits may apply to travel delay, missed connections, damaged or delayed baggage and other covered events.

CHOOSE FOR THE JOURNEY YOU ARE ACTUALLY TAKING
Destination, age and activities
change what suitable cover means.
01
Start with the destination.
Medical costs, remoteness, length of stay and regional cover all affect the plan you should consider.
02
Declare the travellers correctly.
Age, health circumstances and the definition of an individual or family plan can affect eligibility and benefits.
03
Check the activities.
Winter sports, cruises and higher-risk activities may require specific cover, extensions or additional premium.
04
Read limits and exclusions.
Benefit limits, excesses, sub-limits and exclusions matter as much as the headline list of benefits.

FOR CLUB MED GUESTS
The resort may be all-inclusive.
Your journey still needs protection.
Club Med has discontinued its own travel insurance offering, so travellers should arrange separate protection. Consider the flights, transfers, prepaid resort cost and planned activities, not only the time inside the resort.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE
Travel insurance questions,
answered clearly.
Essential guidance on purchase timing, winter sports, exclusions and making a claim.
01
Can I purchase travel insurance after departing Malaysia?
No. Travel insurance must be purchased before your departure from Malaysia.
02
Is winter sports coverage included?
Eligible recreational skiing or snowboarding may be covered, subject to Zurich’s policy terms and activity exclusions. Usual tourist activities must be open to the public and provided by a recognised local operator under qualified guidance and supervision. Off-piste skiing or snowboarding, competition sports, professional or remunerated sports, defined Extreme Sports and Sporting Activities (including extreme jumps or stunts), and activities above 3,000 metres are excluded. This is not blanket winter-sports cover. Tell us your resort, planned activities and maximum altitude so we can check suitability against the Zurich policy wording before purchase.
03
Are dental or pregnancy-related matters covered?
Dental: Overseas dental expenses may be reimbursed for necessary, reasonable treatment of accidental injury to sound, natural teeth during the trip, subject to policy conditions and limits. Routine dental care, treatment in Malaysia, and injuries from biting or chewing are excluded.
Pregnancy and childbirth: Pregnancy, miscarriage, childbirth, infertility, contraception, sterilisation procedures and related complications are excluded. The dental accident provision does not create a pregnancy exception.
See the Zurich policy wording for full terms.
04
How can I make a travel insurance claim?
For Zurich Travel Guard Pro, submit your claim through the Zurich claims portal. Keep the relevant supporting documents for the type of claim being made. For an earlier policy, follow the claims instructions issued with that policy or contact Travelution Holidays for guidance.
