Club Med Transport Guide

Arriving in a new airport can be confusing and not knowing where to go can be stressful. We believe a holiday should be stress-free. Here is the Club Med Transport Guide on what to do upon arrival at the airport.

If you have not booked your Club Med transport, just contact Travelution Holidays at least 7 days before arrival and we will take care of the arrangements for you. We also offer the option to book flights to complete your holiday package.

Japan – New Chitose Airport (CTS)

There are four modes of transport to reach Club Med Resorts in Hokkaido

• Train
• Scheduled Bus Transfers
• Private Transfers
• Self-Drive

By Train

Train tickets are at guests’ own cost. Once tickets are purchased, advise the train number and timing (example: OZORA8 / 1604 hours) to book the transfer from the train station to Club Med.

• Club Med Tomamu

• Purchase train tickets to Tomamu Station
• Tomamu station is an unmanned station with no ticketing machine.
• Meeting point: A Club Med representative will meet and assist to the bus transfer.
• Travel time from Tomamu Station to Club Med Tomamu: 5 minutes.
• Club Med offers complimentary transfers between Tomamu station and Club Med Tomamu.

• Club Med Sahoro

• Purchase Ozora or Tokachi express train tickets to Shintoku Station
• Meeting point: A driver will be on hand to transfer guests to Club Med Sahoro.
• Travel time from Shintoku Station to Club Med Sahoro: 15 minutes

• Club Med Kiroro

• Purchase train tickets to Otaru Chikko Station
• No Club Med transfer service. Book and pay for taxi from station to Club Med Kiroro
• Travel time from Otaru Chikko Station to Club Med Kiroro: 40 minutes

By Scheduled Bus Transfers

Club Med has seven scheduled buses for arrival and departure. After making your flight reservations, advise the flight number and arrival time to book the bus transfer.

International Terminal Meeting Point

1. Collect your luggage and proceed to the arrival hall.
2. Locate the Club Med counter at International Terminal, Arrival Hall, Level 2F.
   • Register your attendance for the bus transfer.
   • Should there be a long wait time, guests can leave and come back to the Counter 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
   • There is no luggage storage at the Counter.
3. A Club Med representative will assist guests to the Transfer Waiting Area, on the Ground Floor.

Domestic Terminal Meeting Point

1. Collect your luggage and proceed to the arrival hall.
2. Locate the Club Med counter between Arrival Gates 4 and 5, Level 1F (JAL AREA).
   • Register your attendance for the bus transfer.
   • Should there be a long wait time, guests can leave and come back to the Counter 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
   • There is no luggage storage at the Counter.
3. A Club Med representative will assist guests to the Bus Transfer Waiting Area.
4. Guests with different arrival flights and transfer dates are required to meet at the Club Med counter at least 30 minutes before bus departure time.

• Club Med Tomamu Arrivals

Travel time from New Chitose Airport to Club Med Tomamu: 120 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

• Club Med Sahoro Arrivals

Travel time from New Chitose Airport to Club Med Sahoro: 165 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions. The Club Med Sahoro scheduled bus is shared with Sahoro Resort Hotel.

• Club Med Kiroro Arrivals

Travel time from New Chitose Airport to Club Med Kiroro: 120 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

General Information About Scheduled Bus Transfers

• Bus transfers are non-smoking and free seating. During peak periods, guests may be asked to sit separately.
• Minimum connecting time from flight arrival to bus transfer time
  • Domestic flight: 60 minutes
  • International flight: 90 minutes
• Waiting time at the airport may vary from 60 to 180 minutes.
• The bus routes and travel duration may change, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.
• In case of flight disruption or missed transfer
  • Flight disruption is out of Club Med’s control and responsibility.
  • Guests may take the next transfer, subject to space availability
    In the event an overnight stay is required, it will be guests’ own cost.

Private Transfers

Guests requiring private transfers may contact Travelution Holidays for assistance.

Transfers between Sahoro and Tomamu

Travel time: 45 minutes. Price JPY4000 per person, per way. Transfer must be pre-booked at the resort.

France – Lyons Airport (LYS)

Meeting Point

• Collect luggage and proceed to Terminal 1, Hall A, Arrival Area (Level 0).
• A Club Med representative will assist guests at the Club Med Desk at the center of the arrival hall near the Information Desk. Guests may have to wait up to 30 minutes for other guests.

Recommended Resorts to Travel Through Lyon Airport

Lyon airport is often less crowded than Geneva Airport. Overnight stay is not required in Lyon as transfers can be organized at any time during the day or evening. Club Med transfers are direct from Lyon Airport to the resort.

Switzerland – Geneva Airport (GVA)

Meeting Point

Same day flight arrival to Geneva Airport + Transfer

• Collect luggage and proceed to the exit to the Arrival Area on Floor A.
• A Club Med representative will assist guests at the Club Med Desk at the center of the arrival hall near the Information Desk. Guests may have a wait of up to 30 minutes for other guests.

Different day flight arrival + Transfer

• Meet the Club Med representative at the airport’s the Arrival Area on Floor A.
• A Club Med representative will assist guests at the Club Med Desk at the center of the arrival hall near the Information Desk. Guests may have a wait of up to 30 minutes for other guests.

Switzerland – Zurich Airport (ZRH)

Travel time from Zurich airport to Club Med Saint-Moritz is 3 hours 15 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

1. Collect luggage and proceed to arrival hall.
2. A Club Med driver representative will meet and transport guests direct to the resort.
3. Vehicle used may be a bus or car depending on resort occupancy
4. Guests may have to wait up to 30 minutes for other guests who are arriving around the same time.

Italy – Milan Airport (LIN / MXP)

Travel time from Milan airport to Club Med Pragelato is 2 hours 35 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

Arriving in Milan Linate or Malpensa Airports

1. Collect luggage and proceed to arrival hall.
2. A Club Med driver representative will meet and transport guests direct to the resort.
3. Vehicle used may be a bus or car depending on resort occupancy
4. Guests may have to wait up to 30 minutes for other guests who are arriving around the same time.

Italy – Turin Airport (TRN)

The travel time from Turin Airport to Club Med Pragelato is 90 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

Arriving to Turin by Train

1. Guests arriving in Turin by their own train arrangements must disembark at Porta Nuova station. Do not disembark at Porta Susa station.
2. Collect the luggage and proceed to the exit.
3. A Club Med driver representative will meet and transport guests direct to the resort.

Arriving to Turin by Flight

1. Collect luggage, exit Immigration, and proceed to the exit.
2. A Club Med driver representative will meet and transport guests direct to the resort.

Canada – Quebec City Airport (YQB)

The travel time from Quebec City Airport to Club Med Québec Charlevoix is 1 hour 30 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.

1. Collect luggage and proceed to arrival hall.
2. A Club Med representative will meet and greet guests in the domestic or international hall.

Canada – Montreal Airport (YUL)

The travel time from Montreal Airport to Club Med Québec Charlevoix is 3 hours 45 minutes, subject to the traffic and weather conditions.
