FAQs About Summer Bay Resort
What time should I arrive at and depart from the airport if I am travelling by flight?
Guests arriving at Sultan Mahmud Airport in Kuala Trengganu should ensure their arrival is before 9:00 am. For return flights departing from Kuala Trengganu, please book flights scheduled to leave after 2:00 pm.
What is the recommended arrival time at the Jetty if I am self-driving?
Guests who are self-driving must arrive at the Summer Bay Jetty – Mangkuk by 10am. The parking fee is RM15 per night.
What time is the pick up from Kuala Trengganu Bus Station?
Guests traveling by coach to MBKT Bus Station will be met by the driver at 7:00 am. Return trips must depart after 1:00 pm.
What time is the pick up from Kuala Trengganu City Hotels?
Guests staying overnight at Kuala Terengganu City Centre Hotel will be picked-up by the driver between 9:00 am and 9:30 am. Please be ready before 9am.
What should I do if I miss the scheduled boat transfer?
Guests who miss the scheduled boat transfers will need to charter a 12-seater boat for RM650, subject to availability.
Is Wi-Fi available at the resort?
The resort does not offer complimentary Wi-Fi services due to network constraints; however, guests have access to three telecom providers: Digi, Maxis, and Celcom.

Summer Bay Resort Terms and Conditions
Child, Infant & Toddler price:
- Infant below 12 months old free of charge (no bed)
- Toddler 12 month to 48 months @ RM200 (no bed)
- Children below 12 years old is sharing room with adults based on child’s rates.
- Children below 12 years old will be charge based on adult’s rates if children want to have a separate room.

- Tourism Tax
- Marine Conservation Fees
Surcharge:
- Weekend (Friday & Saturday), Malaysia School Holidays and Summer Season (July & August): MYR30 per adult per night. MYR20 per child per night.
- Peak Season: MYR60 per adult per night. MYR40 per child per night.
- Chinese New Year: MYR150 per adult per night. MYR100 per child per night.
Additional Conditions:
- Full payment is required upon confirmation. Payment will be converted to Cancellation Charges should there be any cancellation.
- Resort management reserves the right to alter, amend, delete or add to the conditions or withdraw the package at any time without prior notice.
- There will be no refund or deduction of rates on any services provided in the package which is not utilized.
- Reservation is subject to room availability and confirmation will be on first come first serve basis.
- All payments are non refundable.
- Any amendment or cancellation after full payment will not be entertained.
- Please do not bring oversize luggage. Luggage weight limit @ 20kg per person (maximum 2 luggages).
