Singapore Airlines has some fantastic news for passengers traveling internationally. Commencing from 01 July 2023, Singapore Airlines offers free Unlimited WiFi access across all cabin classes, including Premium Economy Class and Economy Class, exclusively for KrisFlyer members.
In a Singapore Airlines official press release on 31 May 2023, Singapore Airlines announced that passengers will be able to enjoy free WiFi on all Singapore Airlines aircraft, with the exception of seven Boeing 737-800 NGs that are not WiFi-enabled.
This enhanced WiFi service will be accessible throughout the majority of the SIA fleet and across their extensive global route network.
“Singapore Airlines is delighted to offer customers in every cabin class the opportunity to remain connected with their loved ones, work efficiently, access the latest news, or stay active on their social media platforms, even at an altitude of 36,000 feet,” stated by Mr Yeoh Phee Teik, Senior Vice President Customer Experience.
Singapore Airlines Offers Free Unlimited Wifi to KrisFlyer Members
To avail themselves of this WiFi service, customers must provide their KrisFlyer membership details during the booking process via the “manage booking” online option or at check-in.
Non-KrisFlyer members can easily sign up for a free membership either online or onboard their flight through the SIA digital content portal on their personal mobile devices. This will grant them access to the complimentary in-flight WiFi.
With this new initiative, Singapore Airlines aims to enhance the overall travel experience, allowing passengers to make the most of their time in the air by staying connected and productive throughout their journey.
