There are no direct buses from Kuala Lumpur to Cherating Beach. Purchase an express bus ticket from Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) to Hentian Bas Ekspress Chukai (Formerly Kemaman). From the terminal, take a taxi or e-hailing ride to Cherating, which is about 16 minutes away.

• By Car

The check in time at Club Med Cherating is after 3pm. Depending on the resort occupancy, your room will be ready between 3pm and 8pm. How much do I need to pay to stay in Club Med Cherating?

Club Med price is based on per person and subject to capacity control. The price will dynamically change based on number of people, travel period, number of nights and room allotment for the set price or offer. The room price will increase when there is high demand or when it gets closer to the travel date.

In general, prices are lower on weekdays and higher on weekends, school holidays and public holidays. During festival holidays like Christmas and Chinese New Year, a minimum of three or more nights is required.

Is there any senior citizen discount?

No, there is no seniors discount for Club Med. Discounts are available for teenagers under eighteen years and children from 4 to 11 years.

Will there be an additional discount if I have more people?

Club Med prices are based on a limited number of room allotments per day. Once the allotment for the price is sold out, the price will increase. Are The Rooms Old?

Club Med Cherating holds the record for the world’s longest wooden-stilt resort. The walls and floor of the room blocks are built using wood except for the shower and toilet. The corridor can be dark due to the dark wood color and sometimes noisy due to kids running on the wooden floor. From the outside the structure looks old, but more importantly the rooms are comfortable and clean.

As there are many activities and inclusions included in your package, the room is used for sleeping and showering. Most guests don’t even switch on the television during their stay.

Sometimes when it rains, there might be leaks or power trip due to rainwater from the roof. This is due to the monkeys removing the roof tiles and throwing them to the ground. If this happens during your stay, call Reception for assistance.
