Why Ski in Hokkaido?

One word: Japow. Hokkaido’s legendary powder snow is light, dry, and ridiculously consistent. Some of the best in the world. It dumps all winter long, from December through March, sometimes longer.

But it’s not just the snow. There’s the peaceful scenery, steaming onsens, fresh sushi, and that laid-back, cosy vibe you won’t find in busy ski resorts elsewhere.

Why Ski with Club Med?

Skiing can be complicated, but not with Club Med. Your lift passes, ski lessons, meals, kids’ clubs, and even the après-ski are all bundled in. No planning stress, no hidden extras. Just show up and enjoy.

With four Club Med resorts in Hokkaido: Kiroro Grand, Kiroro Peak, Tomamu, and Sahoro, each offers something a little different.

The ski domain covers 25km with 9 lifts and a good mix of runs. 8 for beginners, 3 intermediate, and 10 advanced. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a challenge, there’s plenty to explore.

Club Med Tomamu

Opened in 2017, Club Med Tomamu is stylish, lively, and made for snow lovers. There’s plenty to do on and off the slopes, from skiing to relaxing with a view.

The ski domain stretches over 21.5km with 5 lifts and a great variety of runs: 1 for first-timers, 10 beginner, 14 intermediate, and 4 advanced. Tomamu offers that perfect mix of thrill and chill.

Club Med Kiroro Peak

Opened in 2022, this adults-only resort sees a massive 21 metres of snowfall each season—some of the best powder in Hokkaido.

With 23 runs (8 beginner, 6 intermediate, 9 advanced) and a longest run of 4km, it’s built for serious ski days. Two gondolas and seven lifts make getting around easy. For deep snow and a quiet, grown-up escape, Kiroro Peak delivers.

Club Med Kiroro Grand

Opened in December 2023, Kiroro Grand sits just three minutes by gondola from the slopes, sharing the same epic terrain as Kiroro Peak.

Expect modern rooms, upscale dining, and a cosy, welcoming vibe, perfect for families or anyone after comfort with their powder.
